Focus Academy 2017 Holiday Performance

Getting a diagnosis of autism wasn’t the end of the world, it was just the doorway to his. My son was basically nonverbal until he was 7 years old. He’s now 16. No matter how slow his progress seemed, it was still progress. For everyone reading this, it does add-up over time. Here’s proof. Never lose hope, never quit and never-ever give up on a Friend.

Seth Howard, a sophomore at Focus Academy, delivers a very special performance of Randy Newman’s smash hit, You’ve Got a Friend in Me. Focus Academy is a charter school for Autism Spectrum Disorder/Special Needs students located in Tampa Florida. Seth is not only a GREAT friend, he’s also the inspiration behind the new children’s book series, The Kooky Adventures of My Friend Kookabuk.
